FDR: The Real Bumblebee
Some could compare Franklin Delano Roosevelt to a bumblebee. Bees work endlessly throughout their whole lives, always working for one another helping to keep their hive intact. Roosevelt has many qualities that bumblebees themselves have. For instance, FDR was devoted, tireless, and a leader.
I believe that a bumblebee clearly describes Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He led the United States through the Great Depression and a World War, much like a queen bee leads her hive. He fought polio, working tirelessly through vigorous exercise to keep his legs intact. FDR was devoted to his country more than anything else, though. He held on to the ropes that America was dangling on during the Great Depression, willing to go down with the country if all else failed. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the queen bee of America.
